Naughty Tea Time London Look
Whenever I visit London, I must have high-tea one time out of my visit. I love tea time for the small sandwiches, delicious scones and yummy deserts.
Not only do I love something yummy in my tummy, I love anything to do with history and the art of afternoon tea was introduced in England by Anna, the seventh Duchess of Bedford, in the year 1840.
Back in her time, there was no snacking so there was a long time between lunch and dinner. Therefore, the Duchess would become hungry around four o'clock in the afternoon.
The Duchess asked that a tray of tea, bread, butter and cake be brought to her room during the late afternoon. This became a habit of hers and she began inviting friends to join her.
It soon became a tradition and women would dress up in their best gowns to attend tea. Nowadays, women still dress up so I wanted to make sure I looked my best.
I choose for my outfit of the day, a light pink outfit from Revolve House of Harlow.
The outfit is absolutely darling...very sexy and feminine for any naughty girl wanting to look sweet but also feel naughty.
The top is super cute but very naughty! You can either choose to wear a bra or not, but know that with a little wind the top can easily blow up exposing what's underneath making it the perfect outfit for the Naughty Girl.
I bought an XS and fits perfectly...the only thing is that you have to keep your arms down and watch your top with coming up or else you might expose what's underneath, unless you don't mind.
The pants are high-waisted and very light weight and flowy. I'm wearing an XS and I have a size 25 inch waist. They fit perfectly and are not too tight. They are long so in order for me to wear them with my sandals without dragging on the floor, I had to get them hemmed.
For my shoes I choose tan sandals with a hint of gold from Tory Burch, along with a Jimmy Choo purse. I didn't want to overpower the outfit so I choose a small purse and simple gold jewelry. My necklace is from Istanbul and bracelet and ring are from One & Only Reethi
in the Maldives.
The entire outfit was perfect for my High-Tea at the Langham Hotel,
as my tea matched my outfit perfectly (see picture below) and they served my tea in Wedgwood specialty tailor-made "Langham Rose" Wedgwood teaware, that again matched my outfit.
